A Christmas Carol Pantomime

This year Thurso players brings you a Christmas Carol Pantomime written by Faye Sutherland and Charles Dickens.

This Pantomime tells  the tale of Ebenezer Scrooge who is the grumpiest, stingiest man in town, determined to ruin everyone’s Christmas with his miserly ways.

But on Christmas Eve, his world is turned upside‑down when he’s visited by three larger‑than‑life spirits — the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future.

Through magical misadventures, comic chaos, and plenty of pantomime sparkle, Scrooge is whisked through memories, festive feasts, and a frightening glimpse of the future. Along the way he encounters the ever‑cheerful Scratchit family, the lovable Tiny Tim, and a chorus of townsfolk who refuse to let Christmas spirit fade.

By morning, Scrooge’s icy heart has melted. With a burst of newfound joy, he sets out to make amends, spread kindness, and celebrate the season with laughter, generosity, and a very loud “Merry Christmas!”

The Pantomime will be performed at Thurso High School on the 10th, 11th and 12th December 2026 at 7pm and there will also be a matinee performance at 2pm on Saturday 12th December 2026.

Tickets cost £12 for adults and £10 for 16 or under.

Tickets are available from McBeaths Jewellers, Thurso and TicketSource.com
